Welcome to Sheffield Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service part of Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. We are an NHS adult service offering a range of free psychological therapies to over 12,000 people each year who live in Sheffield or have a Sheffield Consultant.
1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. We can offer a range of local therapies that can help with stress, anxiety and depression.

Having a long-term health condition can be frustrating or worrying at times. It is very common for health conditions to affect how you feel and for your mood to affect your health condition. This can lead to feeling stressed, low, anxious or worried.

We aim to provide people, who commonly experience problems such as stress, anxiety and depression with access to our service at the right time when they need it most. We will provide the right talking treatments with the right staff at the highest quality and aim to empower people to make informed choices and changes to improve well-being and live fulfilled lives.
