What are they?
Mother and Baby Wellbeing Sessions are open to expecting women and all mums who have a child under 1 year and who would like to learn proven techniques to overcome common symptoms of stress, anxiety and low mood as well as boosting self esteem and improving relationship with others.
In five enjoyable 90 minute session, delivered by two NHS professionals, you will have an opportunity to learn how to make some positive changes and meet other mothers who may share similar feelings to you. You will not be asked to share your personal experiences with others. You will also receive a free workbook to use throughout the sessions.
The sessions will be run in Children’s Centres, therefore you can bring your baby and are welcome to feed, however we don’t provide childcare.
What can I expect from these sessions?
There are a total of 5 sessions which are 90 minutes long and run on a weekly basis. If you are unable to attend the first session of your Mother and Baby Wellbeing Sessions, we recommend finding an alternative course as you will receive the most benefit from attending all 5 sessions.
Our sessions work well with a minimum of 6 people booked on to them at the start of the sessions. In the rare circumstances a course would need to be cancelled, we would notify you immediately and support you in booking on the next available course.
