Wellbeing Wednesdays

In addition to the main IAPT service, we have a yearly programme of one-off sessions available. These sessions will provide some tips to look after your wellbeing and give you a taster of what IAPT treatment looks like.

 All of these sessions will be held online via MS Teams, on Wednesdays 6-7pm.

 Please use this registration form to book onto these wellbeing sessions. (Please note you can only book onto these sessions 4 weeks in advance)

Mindfulness wellbeing session

  • Wednesday 24th November 6-7pm
  • Learn about mindfulness techniques and how they can be helpful for managing mental wellbeing
  • Chance to practice a mindfulness technique
  • Find out more about IAPT and how to access further help

Christmas Wellbeing session

  • Wednesday 15th December 6-7pm
  • Wednesday 22nd December 6-7pm
  • Recognise signs and symptoms of stress
  • How stress might be affecting you at this time of year
  • Learn some techniques to manage stress

How to make changes for a healthy mind

  • Wednesday 26th January 6-7pm
  • Understand how lifestyle factors (diet, sleep, exercise, alcohol etc) can affect mood
  • Learn how to set some realistic goals and how to start to make some changes to improve how you feel.

  • Learn about mindfulness techniques and how they can be helpful for managing mental wellbeing
  • Chance to practice a mindfulness technique

Managing wellbeing session

  • Wednesday 20th October 6-7pm
  • Understand what can affect wellbeing – eg impact of covid, and return to school/work
  • Watch out for warning signs
  • Learn some self- help techniques to improve your mental wellbeing

  • Wednesday 5th January 6-7pm
  • Learn about mindfulness techniques and how they can be helpful for managing mental wellbeing
  • Chance to practice a mindfulness technique

  • Understand what can affect wellbeing – eg relate to what is happening time of year
  • Watch out for warning signs
